I can see how they would help save time, but other than for staff to use, of what use to the public? How would we get our public to use them other than hold classes to teach the new ways?
Can we use de.lic.ous for our own blogs? I have almost everyone signed up as bloglines but now the list is really long. What do we do next with the blogs to make them manageable?

One of my favorite uses for RSS feeds is to provide up-to-date content for web pages. You can add an RSS feed for the Billings Gazette headlines for example to show up on a Lewistown library web page. Or, even better, you can use the new books feed from MSC. Or you can have upcoming events from your online calendar show up. RSS feeds provide constantly updated content with no effort on your part. A very good thing!
